Question Crossover design for 2206/2446 ?

    Hi all
Planning a front stage LCR with afore-mentioned drivers
    2446 CD's with 2385a horns and 2206h woofs.
Wondering if there's a good passive Xover design or if I need to go active?
I am thinking of the 2206's down to about 80Hz (crossing to subs at that point), and the Xover in the 500-800 range
Is there a flaw in my thinking, and any recommendations or pointers? Thanks!
    Tim

You probably want to go active between the sub and the 2206 anyway. If you go active all the way you can time align between 2206 and 2446. An old Rane 3 way filter will do just that. Explained here: http://www.rane.com/note160.html. Or if you like modern affordable stuff, http://www.minidsp.com/onlinestore/b...sp-kits?sef=hc.
