Crossover points for the S8R speaker package Please Help..

    Hey guys.

I want to use a active crossover on my c60's they have the.
    1. Le15a low
    2. 075 ultra heigh
    3. 375 high

I see the spec sheet from JBL says the crossover frequency for the S8R is 500 and 7000hz.

What exactly does this mean in terms of using an active crosover??

    Thanks for the help..
    Zack

What active crossover did you plan on using, and how?

    When I biamped my 4341 4-way monitors with an Ashly XR1001 -
the 4341 xover had a low (woofer) crossover at 290 - so I just set the ashly for 290Hz ...
Low pass went to an Adcom GFA-555 and then straight to the woofer
Hi pass went to an Adcom GFA-555 and then to the original crossover for the 3 remaining drivers.

Or are you planning to triamp?

    Great question

I am new to this and not sure.

I was thinking a adcom gfa-555 that i have for the lows/ to the subs and somthing of a tube amp for the mids and heigh's. But i think what i should be saying is the heighs 375 driver and the super heighs the 077 driver.

Do i leave the 375 and 077 together and use a two way crossover or do i seperate them and use a three way crossover and tri amp them?

I was looking at this guy http://www.marchandelec.com/xm44.html

And also the units by Bryston i think it is the 10b..

    Thanks for your help.. Zack
