    2266H Any users out there??

Has anyone used the 2266H?? Looking at it in Bass Box Pro it's a shoe-in for a B380 box with more x-max and power handling. May not need the BX-63 as there is about 3db more output in the knee right about 26Hz.

I am surprised that nobody has yet replied. Very few info can be found on the net about the 2266, but it seems to be a great driver for PA duty that has great caracteristics. Plenty of new 2268 on eBay for $420.00 each though. ;-)

I've been buried in the quagmire that is JBL Consumer since the advent of the K2-S9800.

I might have to pick up a pair of these and give them a go. Too bad Pro doesn't have a version of the 1400 Array horn and UHF transducer.

I am thinking about it. Just an expensive buy in the blind. Might just try a single first.

Right... peruse yet another yammer fest... I think I'll wait for some answers from JBL and then perhaps try a pair myself instead.

Keep me abreast if either of you try them. I may want to get a pair at some point too.

Ok, I'll order a few pairs next week. They are higher Q than I usually use but they should be quite solid.

You know... if you do still use a BX63 you can make their box really small, like 2.25 to 2.5 cubic feet tuned to 25 Hz...

Given that, you might also want to look at a 20 Hz box and tuning with EQ. Easy enough to change the BX63 to that frequency if needed.

    Hello 4313B

I am going to try them in the bigger boxes first but the smaller box looks to be the way to go with them. I am running the Syms at 350 Watts. That's what my amps peak at and they stay under the X-Max limit in the sym with the BX-63.

116dB for a single at 26Hz sounds good to me.

Anyone know the mounting hole diameter on the 15 Diferential Drive Frames?? Got my wood cut just don't want to botch the hole size. Can't find a drawing for them in the discrete sales just the 18" frame.

    Thanks Rob
