So between not having any, not really wanting to sell them to the public anyway, and destroying what they do have due to laughable packaging for shipment, it's not really any surprise to me why we don't hear more about them. I'm way more surprised we ever do hear about them.

In any case, they have an aquaplased foam surround and that's why JBL "doesn't like them anymore". They fall under the "If you got 'em, use 'em" tab.

I think the 2216Nd might be the wave of the future.
