Obsessed with Jadis Eurythmie II A DIY Project

This is an amazing forum for the ones obsessed with sound. I have a pair of Jbl 075 bullet drivers, pair of JBL HE 85 and a pair of JBL 2226HPL woofers for this project. Any suggestions on a midrange horn for this project. I am trying to also figure out how to make the main horn which gives this speaker the radical look, love it or hate it. Any suggestions welcome.
i have been reading extensively on this site but this is a newbie post.

Jadis Eurythmie II A use for horn midrange the Audax PR170m0.
You'll need to work a "little" on crossover for that.

I too love the ostentatious design of that speaker. I prefer it in black, but it is an amazing design.

I do wonder about the transfer between the woofer and the large lower mid horn... that horn can't be useful below about 100Hz and even that might be pushing it, I suppose having an indirect firing woofer below 150Hz or so might not be an issue, I haven't done any real listening tests under these conditions so I can't say, but I do wonder.

For the main horn I think fiberglass is your only option. I would make a negative pattern of the interior of the horn, lay up each horn on that and then build up layers of mineral filled resin behind it. The final outer back surface can be cleaned up with a few gallons of bondo and a lot of sureforming, sanding, sweat, and effort.

For the upper mid horn, I think any popular radial horn should do. You might consider a Westlake horn. Regardless, I wouldn't use the LE85, I'd go with a 2" driver like the JBL 375. Since it is costly, a black painted 2440 or 2441 would do nicely, a TAD 4001 even better. I would use the Audax and Fostex drivers mentioned by Stéphane.

The legs and mid horn location remind me of The Judge in The Wall.

It wouldn't be too difficult to laminate that horn out of wood. Since it is black you can hide all manner of hackery under the paint.
