I need to make tuff decision.
I need to to keep just one pair.
What should I keep, 2441,2450 or 2451?
My plan is to get Truextent Be diaphragm in future.

What horns do you have?? 1.5" vs 2.0" What's your best horn? I would also go for the most modern phase plug and compadibility with the Be diaphrams. For me I would choose a 2451 becasue I have Array Horns as an example.

> I would want do a lot more research on the following , but , because you want to install "Truextent" diaphragms ( and you live far away from where they are made ) I would keep the driver that has the best chance of getting a good mechanical fit with these new diaphragms ( all the while assuming that once bought, they aren't easily returned ) .
> ( Hopefully I'm not starting a baseless internet rumour but ), I've read a couple of comments about users having problems with these Be diaphragms properly fitting into the older alnico ( 2440/1 ) gaps .
> FWIW, the newer models do have 2 slightly "hogged out" areas ( in the gap ) to accommodate the ever so slight bulge in the coil-winding ( created where the coils wrap over top of the lead-in wire ) .
Keep the 2451. The others have an exit of about 4 degrees. Most JMCL horns have an entry angle much larger, causing a diffraction where the angle changes.

the Truextent BEs went in to my 2440 motors without difficulty also...
at least the installer did not mention any difficulties,
I was too chicken s*_t to try fitting them myself, given the material's $$$ investment --
I figured what's another $40 to ensure it is done right...
edit -- i'm using the 2440 motors on either 350Hz Edgars or some DAS (or McCauley???) acoustic lens clones -- hartsfield/serpentine lenses and a 2343 shaped clone horn
