    Ashly xr22 18db/Octane or 12db/Octane?

    Can anyone offer some advice on which better suits for the 4343 bi-amp active crossover:
    ashly xr22 18db/octane or 12db/octane?
    To the best of my knowledge, the intended xr network for 4343 was 12 db/octane, right?

    I'm using currently JBL M552. I've used Ashly XR1001, but M552 sounds better to me.

    Your opinion is truly welcome. Thanks.

    octane = anti-knock measure used for fuel
    octave = range of frequencies

    Just sayin'

    Personally I like high octane crossovers, keeps my woofers from knocking under power. Better getcha sum!

    I would bet that was a auto spell, auto complete word swap. :^)
    If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
