    peachtree nova or nova-pre

Just out of curiosity, has any one on the board heard the Peachtree Nova or the new Nova-pre? On paper it looks pretty nice, and the reviews are really good. Sounds like a good DAC set up from the review. I was curious how this would work as a combination DAC/pre amp? The price is very attractive.

Is this a solid product or just slick marketing? I'm not familiar with the brand and have not heard it personally.

I have not personally used any of the Peachtree Audio products, but I did go to an event held by Peachtree and heard several of their products and I was very favorably impressed.

    thanks

    Widget,

Thanks for the reply, it is appreciated. When you heard them, did they have any comparison equipment set up, or was it just a listening session with their equipment?

We compared it to some very high priced preamps and amps... it wasn't as good, but it didn't embarrass itself either.
