3 way Smith Horn speakers on local CL - Technics SB-E100

No affiliation - no relation ... just thought you folks might find them interesting.

One of the guys on AK point this out and I was kind of amazed to see them -
such a close resemblance to some of the JBL theater speakers -
does anyone know any of the back story on these?

The Ad had 4 crappy cell phone photos, but I did find a great image
of what they really look like on a Japanese Audio site

    All the Ad said was:
    Technics SB E100 Speakers - $1000
    "Excellent Condition
    Very Rare Technics Horn Speakers"

I always wonder if folks who ask high prices and post such useless pictures are even serious ...

The only thing that I can make out is ....

the Technics SP 10 II turntable in the Obsidian plinth. Technics (Panasonic) made quite a few incredible products over the years and their SL1200MK series turntables may be the largest selling turntable of all time. I may send that seller an email asking for some better pics, hey, I've driven farther for JBL speakers! Thanks Heather.
    JBL 4343, JBL L300 Summit, UREI 811, JBL 4311, JBL 4301, JBL L5, JBL L50, JBL L100 , to name a few
