    RIP Whitney Houston - 1963-2012

Originally from Dolly Parton, Houston's rendition of "I will always love you" must have graced more weddings than any other song. Her unique voice was way over anything else. Her aunt Dionne Warwick will survive her niece.

Tonight, at the 2012 Grammy Awards, be prepared for an emotional tribute.

Truly a shame and a waste of a talent. Rest in peace Whitney.

Don't own one of her albums, cds, tapes. Yet after listening to her music the past day or so (everyones playing it on the air waves) you cant help but feeling a bit empty. You start thinking back to all the music she put out and where you were when the songs came out. What a voice! RIP Whitney.

I wasn't necessarely a fan and I don't have any record from her, but I do appreciate talent when I hear it. And damn did she know how to sing. Her aunt was the great Dionne Warwick, her godmother was Aretha Franklin. Quite an heritage. And she had "the voice".

Yes she did. So upsetting to loose such a great talent, though it could also be said we lost her awhile ago.

    RIP Whitney.
