Compression Driver Diaphragm Longevity (Reference Forum)

First thanks for that interesting Info!

I read it carefully and came to the following conclusion:

The 2420 is only rated 30W (800Hz) where the 2421 is rated 60W (800Hz). I earlier learned that the power restrictions in older drivers are caused mainly from worser glue and coil former qualities.
This have nothing to do with the suspension, right?

So the conclusion is that the 2420 is at least equal in fatigue resistance than the 2421.
"At least" because the 2421 suspension is diamond and therefore more stressed.

At the end the 2420 is in theory the more stable driver.

    Did I get it??

You might want to look at the 2421 and 2441 product brochures.
