JBL 2370a horn

Hey guys,


any of you got experience with these horns as home-hifi use ?

I thinking bout matching some 1inch Alnico driver`s 2420,2470,2461 etc... to them with a 2405 at top.


Do these horns sound nice and natural ?

I didn't like the way they sounded, but might have been how I used them. Mostly sounded fine, but had a definite horn/honky sound at some frequencies. I wound up going with 2344a's, different animals altogether. They are non-directional and silky smooth, BUT require CD compensation and won't take obscene SPL's due to that.
