Can anyone comment if I swap the JBL's for the EV's, what is gained and lost??
They will be driven by tube gear (6550's) with lots of grunt!!
From doing some research, I get theimpression that the EV's seem to be a few levels better than the L-96's,,,I know they are different technologies and such,,,but i just worry about what my ears will hear.
Unfortunately you will have to A/B them to arrive at a proper conclusion.

The EV's are all the way in CT...I guess i have to convince the other half, that I will sell only after they are both here...hmm!
