Just rewatched the movie "Pi" (π) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UHevOrvjnM
much of the soundtrack is from Clint Mansell and it's very good. Esp liked
"A Low Frequency Inversion Field" (not CM tho)
IF you enjoy ST's , I think BH was The King of 'em

Totally underrated. The album was the soundtrack for a British comedy movie of the same name which tells the story of the man who receives the world's first penis transplant. Don't laugh! The album is still fascinating after all these years: the organ driven instrumental version of "Lola", turning into a furious jam session with horns and orchestra, conducted by famous soundtrack composer Stanley Myers. The following track is a beautiful ballad, sung by Ray Davies plus big orchestra and acoustic guitar. And then, unusual for the Kinks: "Completely" A4, a slow blues of first quality as the early Fleetwood Mac used to play, plus hammond and twin guitar solo. Fun! Side A ends with another fine ballad plus orchestra: "Moments" A6. Ray Davies is crooning. The highlight IMHO is "Just friends" B2. This is one of those albums that grow better and better after frequent listening. Listen!

I'm not that big cineaste, in particular I don't enjoy blockbusters at all, but I have some few favourites: Philipp Glass' work for Koyaanisqatsi by Godfrey Reggio, and Ry Cooders' for Paris, Texas, by Win Wenders. Especially Koyaanisqatsi grasps me entirely and vitually takes me away when watching it.
Best regards!
Three big thumbs up on Koyaanisqatsi. I've always enjoyed that ST.
Went to a record show a couple of years back , I only buy the $1 LP's. Dug through a box and found a pristine copy of Koy............ . Paid for it and seller didn't even know what it was that he was selling. Sounds even better than the digital version.
On headphones it's phenomenal.
