    dimensions / plans / blueprints for 4641

    Hello.
Does anybody have the building plans for the 4641 cabinet? The datasheet say 225l tuned to 25 Hz but I would like to build it as close possible as the originals, especially the port and inner bracings.

    1x 2202H on custom front loaded horn, 2x 2426 on 2370.

I have both the 4641 and the 4645C. They are the same cabinet and differ only by the driver installed. There is some information on 4645C on the Forum that provides measurements and some construction details that were provided by members including my self.
I will attempt to answer any questions you have after you read that info.
Good luck with your project they are incredible subs.

Hey Eaulive. Why not build a 4688 with your newly aquired 2241? They will do well with the 4520s

mmmmh, I don't know, if it would be that good, they would still make it.
I never like those designs, it makes me think of a "one note wonder" boom box. Maybe I'm wrong.

    Besides, this muther is ginormous!

It depends on what you need. If you only want 25 to 50Hz to help the pair of 4520 scoops, then I would go with a TCB. If you want stand alone bass bins that cover 30 to 200 Hz, the sure, the 4641 would be better. BTW I can lend you my 1800 Gti to test against your 2241. They share the same basket and motor. I suspect the 1800Gti to be less musical but more bass heavy.

I plan to make a good, musical and accurate sub for music and movies, probably to coupled with more living room friendly speakers than the 4520 are
