I am bout to purchase these four N7000. Any reason why a pair has red wiring, and the other has green?

Those are the special Christmas limited edition versions.
Ah, ah, ah. That's a good one. Indeed they look like Christmas edition. I am tempted to get them to use as passive filters between the 2441 and the 2405, all being 16 Ohms and with an 8 Ohm R, which seem to match the L-Pad's 8 Ohm minimal value. They are cheap anyway, and local.
dammit sub, I was going to say the assembly line was in a festive mood
but then looked at the fuzzy pics a bit harder and noticed differences in
the parts placement (and possibly color) underneath the wiring. Not having
an N7000 to pop open I passed on the colorful humor. Sigh. If they're cheap
enough, I wouldn't care too much about what was actually inside
$30 a pop... four are available.
I checked Solen for caps and inductors and they are cheap. $2.50 per 1,5µF cap, $5.00 per 0,6mH inductor (2 of each needed per crossover). I could even make them N8000 if I prefered.
cool, i could use a new pair of runners...
yep. that's quite cheap enough.$30 a pop... four are available.
if you don't need all 4 I could use a pair for a project...
sub
I contacted the seller. He claims he is the original owner and that wires came red and green... Go figure. To be taken with a grain of salt... Rheostats are claimed to be tight and clean. He initially wanted $50 each, now at $30. Problem is the dude is 150 miles away in the Canadian boons... I think he is selling old discotheque stuff as he also has a pair of 4550-wannabe cabinets and some 2225 drivers.
I will still buy all four N7000 and keep one pair to turn my 3-way system into a 4-way. Sub, I'll let you know when I have them. If you have any basket to barter...
I got one crazy guy in St Gabriel asking 700 for a pair...
----------------edit--------------------
Ok, found it, he has only one 2225J at 100$
He has 4 4550 however , not original.
My avatar: 4520 loaded with 2225H on E140 frames,
1x 2202H on custom front loaded horn, 2x 2426 on 2370.
Just back from a 700km drive in the boons.
Each crossover got fitted with an extra cap for DC protection. I will check value tomorrow. They are in nice condition, but as they got "cracked open" to add a cap, well the plate/cover was thrown away 20 years ago when purchased.
The same guy also has some Altec 811B w/908-8B drivers for sale at $175.00cad per set (one horn + one driver).

I picked the four crossovers and am selling a pair. Only splitting fuel cost between each pair. Not making $ on them
