Difference between JBL 2403 and JBL 2405 tweeter

    Hi,
I have a custom loudspeakers with JBL components and I use as a tweeter the JBL 2403. I would like to know the difference between JBL 2403 and JBL 2405 tweeter. Has the 2405 a more regular frequency than the 2403?
    Giuseppe

There is much more info here than you'll want to dig through... as well as a fair amount of extraneous noise, but I think you'll find your answers here: Ring Radiator Comparisons.

Thanks for the link, being relative newbie at this hifi stuff, the link is very interesting. I like the Popular Electronics story by George Ausburger, very interesting how the 075 family of ring radiators work.

...is it true that the difference between JBL 2402/2403/2405 is the front flange but the magnet with diaphragm is the same?

Stop listening to who ever told you that. They each have unique diaphragms.

I think that would be consistent with the article from Dec 1958 Audio -- High Fidelity article by George Auspruger on page 12 of the above link, because the 075 driver can reach down to 2500Hz, the Electro-Voice T350 can only get down to 3500Hz, pretty amazing tweeter to get down that low.
