    JBL L100T Restoration

Hi guys I'm new here, just needed some advice on some work I'm doing on a pair of L100T's I have purchased there in really good Nic, woofers have been reformed and the cabs are in excellent cosmetic condition considering there age,

Now I have had some T3 cross overs made buy a guy here in Aus,
my question is when I looked closely at the diagram of T vs T3 I noticed that on the T the tweeter appears to be inverted but not so on the T3 is this correct?

Also what's the general consensus on cabinet bracing and damping I found some stuff called dynaplate And was also thinking about bracing with some 1/2 hard wood dowel... but am worried it will "kill" the sound

was also going to get the tweeters refoamed

cheers peps any advice would be much Appreciated

Inverted usually means that someone pushed the tweeter domes in with their finger. They are not supposed to be like that.

I'll hazard a guess that he meant polarity vs concave.

If you look closely at all of the connections, I believe you should be fine
using the properly mating connectors. t vs t3 may have inverted -all-
the colors to all of the drivers ... and possibly the input terminals.

Ha yes I meant polarity, on the diagram for the 100t the "-" lead (black trace goes to the + on the tweeter) and also in real life as thats the way it's conected in my speaker the cross over are marked as is the tweeter I'll post some pictures if that helps, on the T3 the + lead from cross over goes to + side of tweeter, cheers
