we managed to free a total of 5 jbl 2360a horns with drivers and I know there are more below the rubble. He managed to find 6 515 low-frequency drivers, most were damaged slightly.

It's absolutely amazing what people just throw away.

Glad you got them. Makes one wonder what was missed.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

At the same time I'm happy they didn't go to the landfill, good for you!

I would have saved those VOTT decals/cab sides. You could just cut the wood with the decal on it and frame that little piece for a neat memento.

I was thinking the same thing, hope he scooped up those panels, even if just for posterity.

They were saved!! It is ashamed, as the cabinets looked like they were in better shape than the ones in my listening room before someone took a sledge hammer to them.

    Unhappy

Good find. I am glad that you save some of them. Unfortunately the cabs are toast. Some people don't know what they have.

WOW that is amazing, you just have to think what else has went to the dumps from old theaters.

Its also amazing all that was still in the dumpsters, around here it would never last, I mean you would have homeless people starting a brawl in the street for that copper wiring.

Hope you can save everything you can. Then I am sure your asking yourself that question, what do you do with it?
