I never stop being surprised by human creativity. THis one can only be beaten by "Mr Caulking" from another thread...

Its better than the one we saw not long ago using many little bits of masking tape.

Nope - the ultimo is one that was beaded all round with silicon "rubber" RTV style bathtub sealer.
Not like the white window putty caulk Mr Caulky used, but the real GE Silastic compound ...!

Is that duct tape? I really like that seller says nothing about it.

Makes you want to avoid ebay altogether.

OLd Thread, But Kind Of Relivant

Here I am knocking myself out, making calls, spending time surfing the 'net trying to find the original glue JBL used and all I had to do was check eBay.

The glue that comes with the kits rcoob has nothing to do with wearing (and I currently use, if anything better yet) JBL originally.

It was fast drying liquid rubber and was highly elastic, just as natural rubber .....

In the first arrangement I made here in Argentina encountered products by 3M something similar, but it was red instead of the original black .... , and liquid to take off the wing (methyl ethyl ketone - MEK) and do not sell it in small quantities because they buy to get high ......
