Japanese ALTES 43XX series upgrade crossovers

Can anyone briefly explain what is going on on these crossovers? They do look sweet and possibly perform likewise. No charge coupling tho, so still room for upgrade Pic:

    Google translate:
ALTES 43 Series Complete custom ¥ 350,000 (base price 4WAY original network unit overhaul /)
    Price ※ JBL 4343/4344/4344Mk Ⅱ / 4345. 4333 was ¥ 280,000

After completion of the network wiring is 4 specification.
    Use transformer type attenuator.

Complete remodeling of Artes does the 43 series in the audio core.
Work will take approximately one month period.

The transformer type attenuator sounds like the big deal here. I'd try one out but I'm too uneducated in this matter yet.

Need quite a bit more information than that to make any informed opinion. Without a schematic or the voltage drives there is no way to know what's going on compared to the original networks.

I do not like such inductors positions (these "laying face to the PCB"), because mutual coupling is possible, but it seems that glues there ( http://www4.ocn.ne.jp/~audio/jbl43comp.html ) does not pay attention about that.
