    First timer info

It's been a few years, but given the recent "what's it worth" melee, perhaps it's a good time to revive this? Maybe adding response guidelines would be helpful as well.

Very helpful. Might I humbly suggest (didn't see it mentioned in the links) highlighting Google Adanced Search function? Regardless of how well you manage this site's Search function, the first time anyone tries "L7" they'll get frustrated.

The following words are either very common, too long, or too short and were not included in your search:
    L7
The same search in Google Advanced gets over 3,000 hits like this one:

I just bought those L7's for $450.00,will pick them up later this evening. I will let you all know what I think of them.
Google Advanced Search using this site's domain name (audioheritage.org) simply works better. I'd include it in the tips.
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

Based on the fine work that Grumpy has started, we are considering making it an even more useful tool and replacing the FAQ in the menu bar above with something like it.
