Revolutionary method for dealing with old surrounds

Forget the hassles of re-foaming woofers. This guy has figured it all out. Read all about it in the eBay listing for these unfortunate L7s.

One woofer had the surround wear away, so I improvised a new one as can be seen in the pic. This was supposed to be a temporary but it works so well that I kept it. There really is no audible difference between my surround and the regular one a at any volume level I have tried. Of course, if you plan on blasting them, you will probably want to replace it properly.
Anyone need a pair of L7s for parts?

Besides, experts know that duct tape is the best, and it comes in a variety of designer colors.

The black duct tape has a better curve ! Black also helps the speaker disappear during critical listening .

I like that part of the auction:
Regarding my not-so spectacular feedback- I allowed family members to use this selling account and the bad feedback was the result. Please look and you'll notice almost every negative feedback is from shoes (what they sold)
