    2205B reconed as 2235H ?...

Hello. I know that this subject is not new here but, i got a pair of
2205B frames for free and my question is: what is the "B" in 2235B ?
I know that there are "A"s as 2205A, and that the newer ones are "H" and "J" for a 8
and a 16ohms version but, what are the "old ones" A and B stand for?.

I plan on having the alnicos "re-charged" before re-coning.
I also know that real JBL C8R2235 recones are not available over counter but,
did someone find a place to buy them?. I would rather recone em myself, having
    done this before...

    Thanks guys,
    Pierre

    Yes, you can recone a 2205B with a C8R2235.
Now my question is "where will you have it recharged"? Do you know a place close? Do you mind sharing?

Yes there is a place called Belisle Acoustics that recharge Alnicos here near Montreal. Belisle are the ones that created and built the speaker systems for the Montreal olympic stadium and the Bell Center.
They have there own lines of raw drivers too.

Yep, A = 8 ohm, B = 16 ohm. Frames are identical, only the voice coil was different IIRC.
