They did not post an address or phone number and did not respond to the Craig's list email.

But the street is only 3 blocks long so I won't have a problem finding the house as long as they have a sign or piles of 4343 and 4350's out front....

I joked about seeing a pile of monitors in the front yard but the first thing I saw in the front yard was 2 big and 2 smaller black boxes with the familiar white JBL logo on them. The pair I bought AS4718 Std and some smaller ones with a pair of 10" drivers.

The 18" 2241 that looks pristine as if the grill cover was not removed until I took the attached image.

They are from a church and she asked $125 for the pair, I paid her asking price.

I should strap one of them in the back of my truck with a DC300A powered by a true sine wave inverter download some of that "music" you hear thumping in cars these days and cruise through downtown tonight.

I would be the envy of the 14 to 25 + or - year old crowd down there. No real response above 2000 hz and they would love it.....

Not to burst your bubble, but I've seen car audio systems that would dwarf your 2241s in terms of SPL.
Absolutely brutal. Quality and listening pleasure is another thing however.

Lucky you bothered to go ... any idea what the 10" systems were?
for that kind of price, they might be worth a second look...
