Opinions on McCauley 417 Horn & lens

I may have a chance to pick up a pair of McCauley 417 Horn and lenses.

They look pretty nice and the lenses are straight. I just recently heard of McCauley any opinions on the 417 Horn and lens?

I picked them up and I am impressed with them. They are well built and a bit like a small version of the 2395.

so you got the 2" versions?

I've seen both 2 and 1" versions....

McCauley also did a sort of combo horn with the horn from the 2395,
and the lens set from the hartsfield...
but it also had mounts for three tweeters along the top (or bottom) of the horn itself...

agree that the stuff seems very well made...

generally identical from what I can tell....

They are the two inch version with a metal lens, if you put a JBL badge on them most would think they were JBL IMHO.
Works very nicely on my 2441's.
