    Question The Audio Auction Site

Sorry if this is an old subject but I stumbled on the site selling mainly surplus Clair Brothers equipment including JBL.

    2405's $200 for a pair
    2241's $375 for a pair.
    2240's $250 for a pair

Most of it looks like it was ridden and put away wet as they say but they claim it is all tested with no aftermarket parts.

    Any comments?

A couple of friends and I bought 28? 2441's from them and only one was less than really OK, I didn't even worry about it. All had JBL D16R2441 phrams in them like they said.

One would have to expect that these drivers have not been pampered. If you are looking for pristine, your search continues.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
