    JBL 4412 mod

I bought a set of 4412's recently, and the tweeters were blown. I hate to modify them with another brand, but I have a pair of Yamaha berylliums from a set of NS500's. Any thoughts on this?

Don't do it, is my thought.

The tweets are easy enough to find. Depending on the 4412 variant you have, they should be 035ti drivers. There are currently 2 pairs FS on eBay.

Or you can buy a pair of any number of speakers systems with the same driver and part them out.

I ordered a set from Speaker Exchange in Florida. ($110ea) I wasn't going to do a permanent thing. I just wondered how they would sound.

Sounds awesome, not quite as effortless as the 4320's they are sitting on. but nice. Thanks
