jbl 2410/dukane 5a540

I was Hoping someone who has used both of these drivers could help me out. I have owned a dukane 5a540 for several years now I got at a yard sale, and am looking to match it up with another driver. I read that the 5a540 is a essentially a rebranded 2410, but I think they will differ slightly. I have already purchased a 2410, so I suppose I will find out anyway. I was just hoping someone could tell me what to expect. (I do not have horns yet for either, i'm still in the market.)

- Following Subs' advice, I searched out one thread for you to read
ie ; a Dukane 5A540 = a 16 ohm variant of the Coral M100 .

- Another is Subwoofs' own definative thread on the earlier Dukane series ( rebadged JBLs ) or ( as I'll call it ) ;
a JBL le175 = a Dukane 5A350 driver .

One can see from these impedance studies that the JBL 2410 and Dukane 5A540 drivers are not the same ( though we already knew that ) .

The Dukane is very much a 16 ohm driver / while the 2410 ( le175 ) is more of a 10 ohm driver ( using the same criteria ) .

BTW, these sweeps were made with each driver horn loaded by a tiny little radial made by RCF ( H2009, which is N/A ) .
