Sorry,Wont work as those are not interchangeable recone kits. Not to mention that the motors are two different individual styles.Oldmics
You need to find a E-155 or a 2240 (or 2245) basket to make 2245's.....both of which aren't too tough to find around here...not sure about your local.

Missed you Giskard!

Giskard,
This sort of information would be a very useful aspect of the reference forums.
Perhaps Edgewound could offer assistance.

A 2245 and 2240 are compatable, no others if I remember correctly.

Okay cool it Mr,
No need to Slam the door on me .
Look, we realise there are only so many hours in a day....but your learning..let others in and you will get help.
It was just a flow on idea from our chat this morning.
The more we all work together on the forums as opposed to in them the easier it will become to maintain.

Now this is getting a bit silly....

Well its ironic that I have a 2245 basket beside me..now that's spooky..
Maybe those in the know can spot the problem.
This one bottomed inwards as I recall on 70 volts DC.
After that the voice coil rubbed and shorted intermittently.

They're not rated for that... what happened, PS regulator in an amp fail?Originally Posted by Ian Mackenzie
