JBL 4333A selector switch for mono / bi-amping

Hi folks,

Is the 4333a selector switch for mono / bi-amping still available from JBL ?
Or can I buy a compatible part elsewhere ?

I believe not too long ago someone here was sourcing a modern replacement for the 4-ways. Shouldn't be any different for a 3-way. Member "4313B" perhaps?

But remember, the switch is often to blame for problems and the suggestion is usually just to bi-amp them and bypass the switch altogether. From the "Designer's Post" under 4345 in the Forum's System Information heading; Greg Timbers wrote:

Are you thinking of that post http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...acement+4-ways where Giskard proposed schematics of new filters for 4333A without the rotary selector ... but I will need 2 filters : 1 for mono and one for bi-amping

Yes, I know , but I would like to keep my 4333A as close to the original as possible.
It's why I am looking for rotative selectors and that is not obvious

No. Whoever it was was receiving such a switching device from Russia (?) maybe and was disappointed in the first prototype or version awaiting a second or had received one that was claimed to be superior to the OE version. At least that's what my near-60-year-old mind remembers. I'm no expert in this stuff so I might be thinking of a three-way switch or something else.
