You'd have to toss in a resistor in parallel to maintain the same load and lose the efficiency. That would mean turning up the L-Pads. One would have to run an impedance curve on each diaphragm to come up with the proper resistor value.

    Hi!

I would be interested in the DCR of their 2426H and 2416H substitudes.
Not one aftermarket dia I measured met the 3,2 Ohm of the original JBLs. And this cause problems.

well however the case if alu is better than ti. i guess a new 2425 sounds better than a 20+yr old 2421?

Ok, I did this awhile back. I suppose I could do a few more when I have the time.

I called and had the pdf file emailed to me, but it was too large to post, so I found it buried in their website. If the link doesnt work PM me and I will figure out a way to send it to you. Its also on their websiet buried on the site map under their 1" diaphragms.
It has the DCR, 3.3 Ohms and a plot of the impedance curve. The representative said the 1225 is the same replacement for both drivers (?) Dang, pretty different drivers. Well I dont write this...

If you want an actual measurement, I might be able to go over and ask them if they would allow me to measure two or three for DCR.
    Here is their pdf link
