Are these white cloth L100 grilles "very rare" and highly desireable"...

or just an extremely lame and cheap way to replace the rotted out foam originals? I've never seen grilles like that on an L100. And where are the badges. The price is ridiculous, IMO, they look horrible.

So What? He stated under oath they don't affect the sound at all. And, only $800.

The plant ring on the right adds to the character, that's got to add $100.

Not to mention the black rub stains on the white grilles. Classy.

Just an above average DIY attempt to salvage the speakers once the grilles were found piling on the floor in a mound of dust. We can discuss the subjective appeal of white grilles, but there is no "wrong" answer.

Are you guys that bored? These look pretty typical to me. Optimistically priced, but otherwise nothing remarkable.

OK, I'll fess up, I was hoping to get $1200 for my pair with punched in woofers... not affecting their sound of course. The voice coil rub adds harmonic texture.
