Leif: It's my old pair of 4435 that is for sale. The cabinet need some work to get in proper condition and I think he said he also has broken one of the woofer.
But if you are going to buy them I might be interested in your B460
I have the 4430s and a friend of mine has the 4435s. The 4435s have much better bass and the lower midrange sounds cleaner with a sense of ease on orchestral works. My 4430s are tubby sounding compared to the 4435s. Many modern recordings have too much bass emphasis and sound a bit bloated on the 4430s. If I had the room, I would defintely have the 4435s. I still consider the 4430 an excellent speaker just not as good as the 4435.
I would like to raise the 4430s up 6 inches to see if it helps the bass. I am also considering changing out 2235s with some spare 2234s that I used in my paragon (in storage - need to sell). I wish truextent would start making diaphragms for the small format drivers.

Maybe "tubby" was not a good choice of words. It's just on certain recordings e.g. Jennifer Warnes The Hunter the whole room shakes on the bass notes. A lot of modern (digital) recordings have the very low frequencies emphasized and I don't care for that type of bass. Most of the older classical and jazz recordings are not a problem. I live in a condo and don't want to disturb the neighbors. What I really need is tone controls on my preamp! I still want to try switching out the woofers with the 2234s that I have.

I used a HK 3480 rcvr to run my 4430's and they were a bit thin on the bass but were nicer sounding across the rest of the bandwidth.
I added a JBL 2242 in a 9 cu ft cab run off a PE sub plate amp and found that to be just heavenly.
Also, while the HK 3480 was very well damped with lean bass response the top end made the HF cheeks sound much better than they actually were!
Just my personal example is all...
