    Harman's How To Listen

As promised a while ago, Sean Olive of Harman (Northridge) has released a beta of the How To Listen software. It's a rough beta.

Those who've been to the Northridge listening labs and rooms will recognize it, while those who haven't gone (and may never go) will have a rough idea of the process.

Improvements are sure to come, but it's a start.

Thanks for posting that... and for HARMAN to let it out into the wild.

On a mac, I had to change a few directory ownership/permission settings,
    but it worked after that.

Educational... even through crap (albeit A. Lansing) computer speakers.

I get an "error starting FMOD engine" when I want to start the program... then it crashes :-(

It works pretty well for me on a Mac, too. It certainly has fewer bugs than I do. So far I'm "failing" miserably, though I'm learning.

I saw this on JBL Harman facebook. I have fair trained hearing for listening as it is. I think the download will cause issues. If its on youtube I’ll take listen.

I think there's something wrong with the progress of the tests, anything I choose I always get back to the peaks/dips section.

It's fun, and not that easy, I went as high as 13 bands peaks and dips and my hearing sucks above 14K, so when I hear no difference I know it's somewhere up there
