    Yeah, pretty obvious crapmanship.

I'd be more worried about the 2405 standing proud of the baffle. Means the baffle is only 3/4", not the 1" of an original.

Not too far from my downtown office, but no thanks.

I'll stick to what I've got.

Not trying to defend the "crapmanship", but the original used 3/4" baltic birch baffle.

Doesn't appear to be a round hole in that baffle, either. Guess they cut it with a jigsaw!

And the cutout for the terminals on the back is a real hack-job. What a mess. And no warning to look carefully at the photos because what you see is what you get. Did I miss the serial numbers somewhere?
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

FWIW, these aren't the same ones that came up on eBay and "sold" for $7995 or whatever prompted neanderthal to declare his for sale at the same price (and were taken down and re-listed on A-Gon after the "sale" went thru).

This pair has been posted before, for sure, but this is a pic of the ones that got neanderthal's interest up:
