it rolls of very slowly and that is a very good thing since it will blend well in a large number of different acoustic environments.
this also provides very natural sounding bass
just my opinion
you are forgetting that these levels are measured @ 1 watt
things get allot more complicated at higher levels and small woofers just cant keep up with big ones in bass response
big woofer keep being linear to the response and small woofers just cant fiscally displace the air needed With out haven thermal and displacement distorion issues
array 800 are very nice speakers i have had them but the K2 5800 are much better performers
Good answers have been given. In my experience, there's nothing to worry about.
The K2 S9900 specs out similar to this according to JBL.(48Hz50kHz -6dB) With proper placement, it's more than sufficient for music, except for my addiction to dance and trance with their unnatural bottom end. Even then the subs are only operating below 40 Hz and most of the time are inaudible. They're more for feel than hearing.
As stated by 4313B and Valentin, normal music does not require any help with these beauties.
Like action movies and B-movie actresses, dance/trance/hip-hop have augmented, artificial bottoms, so subs help.
Out.
Somehow I expected Array boxes to be nicer. Something like this:
JBL doesn't want to sell you Performance Series speakers.
Received an email this morning stating that my order has shipped, the shipper is listed as "DAYL" and the tracking number is 869XXXXX. I have no idea and could not find any listing online for this shipper. Anyone know who "DAYL" is (full name) or website? Thanks.
Why don't you just call Harman? There is a help number right on the e-mail.
