    Modern JBL speakers have better frenquncy response definitely,they are dynamic,accurate,but they seems lack of some taste
    In China,most people like vintage JBL than the new ones not only because of the new ones' expensive price,but also their tastes

    Valentin - S5800 vs. 1400 Array

    You've had direct experience with both, albeit not at the same time. Could you speak a little about what you remember are the strong points of the S5800 and how that might compare to the 1400 Array?

    I find the K2 S9900 to be tasteful both in its looks and its sound.

    You could feel differently about the man in the picture, of course.

    Wow, 186lbs per for the K2 5800's! That's one solid speaker!

    If I hadn't just blown my tax money on a Mac MC275 this would have been very tempting. But I'm happy to say that the 250ti's with the "Giskard XOvers" are still continuing to make beautiful music. No matter what I bring into the system, I'm able to hear and appreciate the upgrades. I don't know if they will *ever* be the weak link....

    Congrats to all that were able to take advantage of this sale! More high-end JBLs in the states is a good thing !

    That website hates me. I tried to add two of those PS1400s to my basket and no matter what, I could only get one to enter. But I didn't want just one, so I guess they still have one.

    And the shipping ain't free on the PS1400, it was $70 to here.

    Same price as the now sold-out K29800 that was the last item in the list on sale. Looks like the website author just changed the title and description, but not the price.

    nice catch...seemed a little pricey for a 2 way 8 inch LF'er

    4312Dleft=$389.36
    right=$327.40

    must be better drivers in that left one ????

    and the 12inch sub is cheaper than the 10 of the same model line ??
