What is your ultimate JBL monitor?

For those that have been following my build, I've been working with some older JBL drivers (2206/2123/2446Be/2405) and am getting it pretty well fine tuned. However, never having heard some of the more recent offerings, I ponder the performance comparison with JBL's newest treats. For those that have heard them, what is your favorite home speaker? Would it be the M2 or the DD67000 or something else????

Christmas is nearing and who knows what Santa might bring....

If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

When I worked for Harman I was fortunate to have been able to spend some hours with the DD66000, DD65000, DD67000, S4700 and the M2, and to my ears, the M2 is simply the most accurate speaker I've ever heard. I stopped lusting after audio playback gear many, many years ago. Hearing the M2 has reawakened that lust.

Thank you for your comments guys. I've never heard any of these. The word I see associated with the M2 is "neutral" and it doesn't even have Be diaphragms like the DD's do. Would you say the M2 requires a subwoofer to get down to those lowest notes?

A lot depends on your definition of "monitor".
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers

What I'd really like from Santa is a pair of M2's that don't look water coolers, but if we're talking monitors only, I'll settle for 4365's.
