    Newer pro drivers w/plastic basket

    While buying some gear from an estate sale this past weekend, I happened upon a pair of 15" new pro drivers and was surprised to find they were injected molded plastic. They look like the original black heavy frames until you pick them up. When did this start and are they any good?

    You have a part number?? Well if it's lighter and stiffer/better damped and less prone to ringing why not. My square frame 10's and Le14's will ring like a bell when struck in free air.

    The M151-8 is actually listed as an obsolete driver - maybe they decided plastic frames didn't work for "pro" series...
