Does 2452h-sl work on Array 1400/ sam 1hf horns ?

I suppose both Array 1400 and sam1hf use the same horn. Can 2452h-sl driver work on those horns ? I have the 2452h-sl drivers and i want to try the Array/Sam horns if i can get my hands on a pair.

Yes and yes... the two speakers use the exact same horn and the 2452 will bolt on it.

If it will fit it can be made to work just adjust the compensation starting with the Gregs generic filter.

Ok. The sonic thing is because what i have seen on some other horns and drivers. Like on Pt-95hf waveguide and 2435 driver you get a strange dip.

    Hello Mats

With the Coherrent Wave Phase Plug in the 2452 I don't think you will have any issues. I didn't using the 2431,2435 on the Array Horns. The 2431,2435 are a bit sensitive because of their short phase plugs but they can work well on the right horns. They work well on the PTH1010 and even better on the Array Horns.

Take a look at the driver crossections. You have a "short" 3 slit 2435 compared to a longer 4 slit design 2452.
