Everyone's guessing a bit, until they have one in hand.

    Exactly!

As long is I don't have the 1,75" Be dias on hand I can't say how the new compensation looks like.

One years wait for 2425/6 diaphragms

For those who are interested I had this reply back from Brush Wellman yesterday ...... Quote ...

"We currently have 4 inch diameter voice coil replacement diaphragms available and we are considering future development of multiple replacement beryllium diaphragms. One of the designs we are considering for development is a 1.75 inch voice coil diameter diaphragm that is compatible with a number of compression drivers including JBL's 2425/6. I anticipate that we will be deciding on a diaphragm design for development within the next few months and it will then be approximately one year before those diaphragms are available"
    ........
I can't wait ..... it will save me from having to buy TAD 2001's
    4435, 4430, 4315, 4312B.
    2 x Bryston 4BSST2, BGW 203, JBL 5235, Aphex 720.

I think you are going to find they are much further along in this process and they will be available sooner.

Excellent Guido co-operation on this site can be outstanding at times now all we need is someone with Clio and the spare time and the willingness to assist

This was meant as a joke

I'll have the 1,75" dias first as I'm a truextent dealer. So I gladly make the neccessary files. If I have the time I'll also make the compensation network. It will not be before summer/fall 2011
