    Beautiful!

Please list your components and crossover type/frequencies.

Which mid horns are you using?

    Thanks for the post.

BTW: I thought with this new forum we could only post one photo per post.

The limit applies to attachments. If you are linking to photos on the Web like Neriks, there are no restrictions.

    Outstanding!

How is the mutual coupling with those 2242H's? I can't remember what you have them tuned to, what was it? What is the low pass set at? Did you ever sell your 2245H's?

    Mr. Widget,

    Tanks!

Each subwoofer enclosure hosts two 2242H and is tuned to 27Hz. The internal volume is approximately 700 liters.

Each midbass enclosure hosts a 2226H. The internal volume of each enclosure is approximately 140 liters.

The wooden horn uses a 2446H each. The horns are built by-hand and are made out of American white-oak.

The system is actively driven with separate amplifiers for each register. The amplifiers and crossover frequencies are listed below:

    • The Subwoofers is driven by a Mark Levinson No.336, crossed at 60Hz
    • The midbass enclosures are driven by a Rotel RB-991, crossed between 60Hz and 500Hz
    • The wooden horns are driven by a Mark Levinson No.331, crossed at 500Hz

    Giskard,

    Tanks!

I think that the mutual coupling phenomenon is contributing to the enormous sound pressures that can be produced in my listening room ... However I haven't conducted any measurements that can verify this.

I still have those 2245H's. Unfortunately they need to be reconed before I can use them.

They are not the same thou they may seem similar they are not a precise match. Dave’s is all cockeyed looks like the titanic with its ass sticking up while nose diving downwards. Plus Dave's is grey and yours is blacker and smarter looking. The JBL logo background is different colour as well and size.
