    Altec 3841's....

    I found a pair,passive,and woofers all need refoamed,are they worth investing the money to restore them? Did a search here can't find any info on them. Anybody know of any link's on here for info? Thanks in advance,for any help......

    Can you post a few pictures.I don't think the 3841's were anything special but a few pics might help determine that.

    Here's the link I found.

    I searched further here,and found that they are vary much the same as 886a's. Don't think they are really worth the time,and money. The thread I found says there low budgt,entry level Altec.but again. I've read some good things about 886's.... Don't really know..

    Amazing how many "white cones" and "waffle grill covers" were inspired by the Century L100.
