That they are basically the only aftermarket diaphragm that's ever been widely accepted by this board says quite a lot.

And it's only $1200/pr if you don't take advantage of the 15% off deal They're barely over one thousand dollars a pair on sale!

    Here's my Hostboard post in it's entirety ;

    - Actually, to the best of my knowledge , only the 4" variety has been released for sale at this date .

    - The rumour is that the 1¾” diameter model is next in cue for production .

    <> cheers
    - The rumour about the release of the 1¾” diameter model is just that //at this time it's rumour only .

    - My post at Hostboard was in response to the original poster who implied that all sizes were available . They're not !!!

    <> cheers

You have 2445's already .... Be measures really ,really good in them .... you get 90 % of the TAD 4003 sound quality for 20%of the price .... They sound more like your maggies in the regions

Sounds very nice - but right now Emma is sitting at home while the furnace guys install our new Furnace and AC system - That $6500 will net us a fine rebate come tax time in the spring ... and that will go towards our "trip to Edinburgh" savings fund, unfortunately, and NOT a pair of BE diaphragms ... I'll just have to suffer with (working) stock phragms for now ...

    Just ask

    Truextent Availability

    - Currently available are the 4" diaphragms ONLY.
    - Next will be the 1.75" diaphragms. The release date isn't clear yet. Hopefully next year.
    - 3" diaphragms will probably only available for speaker manufacturers. But this is very unclear at present

    Expensive Be diaphrams?

    Hell yeah!

But the best I have ever heard personally!

I have Be in JBL 2446J drivers on Edgar round wooden tractix horns, and they sound like they are worth every cent! And I'm on a very low fixed income!!!

Which filter did you use for your furnace? I'm going to be installing a furnace in my new home, but don't know if i should use the furnace the company is providing or purchase my own furnace filter and ask them to install it, usually what ever the companies install are standard, not much quality.

Be's for the 2425/2426 sure would get my attention if and when they become available.

I'm not going to hold my breath for a version that would work in the EV DH1A though

I just purchased 3 furnace filters from home depot today, the price was pretty reasonalbe, so far I think it's going to work great. I also bought a couple more, to make cabin air filters from a normal home home furnace filter, it works great.

Brush Wellman will be coming out with the Be diaphragms sometimes next year. They should make quite a difference.

The 1 3/4 be phrams should make a pair of Le85,s into a super tweeter..
