A CRT scope or a USB scope? I know nothing about OXS, isn't it some sort of Windows-Mac interface?

I have a BitScope, a USB type that is working out quite well. Not too expensive but not cheap either. It was the best bang for the buck that I could find.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

OS X - is OS 10 (1-=X in roman numerals). Its a VERY nice Macintosh interface that runs on top of an underlying BSD Unix structure. Current version is 10.6.4 (Snow leopard) but they just announced the next major release will be 10.7 (Lion - all are named after big cats).
All current macs run on Intel processors, but are quite a bit different than Windows.
of course, nearly all current macs can run windows as a background or an virtual process,
tho some of the support hardware is a bit different.

    Rich,

Check out SignalScope ! It's OSX friendly .

Donald Patten has done some nice crossover work using this, along with his other apps .

    Here's his web page .
