Is it feasable to Bi-Amp the L300 using the Ashley XR1001 crossover network and would it be advantagous or not?

All you need is here http://www.jblproservice.com/pdf/Stu...ries/4333B.pdf
Bi amping is generally accepted as being ' a good thing ' It does allow you to choose amps with different attributes for the LF and MF/HF sections. For example a nice big Crown to run the bass and a Class A sweety to run the top.
Just my 2 cents worth , have fun.
Thanks for the info and it would be nice to run the JBL 3133A network but I don't have two and there aren't a great deal of them for sale out there. That leaves the Ashly, is it a reasonable alternative?
Even with the 3133A networks you still need the active crossover. I'd consider building 4313B's (the forum member, not the speaker) updated L300 network in a Biamp only version. All you need the full HF section and the low pass portion of the MF section. Protect the LE-85 with a 20 uF cap for DC and other nasties, or simply use the full MF section.
You will have to do a search to find the network, but it was included in a recent post.
