PLEASE HELP with JBL LE25 Tweeter

I was replacing the foam surrounds on my Alnico LE25 tweeters and without realizing it I broke the copper wires that are on the front of the tweeter. How bad did I screw up this tweeter by doing that? (It is the two small tiny copper wires that run from the paper dome to the outer edge of the tweeter underneath the foam surround in the front of the tweeter). If it is going to affect sound performance what would be the fix???

    thank you,

    Nick

That's going to stop the tweeter from working, completely dead. The fix is not very difficult, just solder the wire back.
