In search of 4333a grill plans

So I finished my E bay rescue tube amp.... ( KT-88's, great iron & 500 volt rails )

    http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...ht=#post287752

It sounds fantastic.. and a fun learning curve...60 hours of burn in on some JBL L-100's... next part of that project is a preamp.

I am now back on to the restore of the 4333's.... I refoamed the 2231a's.. and I have to say what a HUGH difference between the EV's I had in there just to make music...

So now I'm stuck on the grill again ...
I've searched high & low... and found partial info on this very site...

But I was wondering ( read BEGGING! ) if someone had real blueprints ( or scans ) of the grill plans?!

I tried to get my carpenter to make a mockup with the info here... and he is JUST not interested unless he get's a real drawing....

    So can anyone help???

    Thanks in advance

    Mike

    LOL

a real carpenter would not need real drawings ...... Send him Mexico to build speakers .....

All the grills on the 43xx were built the same way. If he can't work from Saeman's drawings

    like I said ......

    Carpenter blues

Suffice it to say we have had some " history " where he has had a creative idea.. and built... where I turn around and state.. what the BLEEP is THAT!...

We have agreed to have good plans BEFORE moving foward...

    So no help?

    Thanks

    Good luck , Rich

    Hi Mike,

I have to make some drawings of the 4333A front grills for another LH member.
But I will leave my home tomorrow morning for a 3 weeks trip.
So I could send you the drawings in about 4 weeks. Can you wait just 4 weeks ???

Feel free to PM me if you have no news within 4 weeks ...

    Best regards from France.

    Well Mr. Proper

I do NOT have the utility style cabinets cripes...
Do I look like a mere PEASANT ...
    Naturally it would be BLUE.....

And yes, yes I do deserve these...
Since I rescued them form a garage, kicked in woofers..
No sound playing thru them for .... 10+ years..
Surround foam rotted to the edges...
Plastic midrange diffusers stepped on and shatttered..
Motorcycle oily parts parked on top..
Holes drilled in cabinet for ... HANGING
    It was HORRID!
But they have a good home now & are recovering slowly.

I would redo the grilles myself...
But wood & I do NOT agree most of the time & wood usually wins!

    Thanks
    Mike

    Worthy Custodian !

    Hey Vigman,

Just have a bit of fun . I'm sure they will much loved in their new home .... I hope you eventually give them the CC networks ... schematics are here and well worth the effort ...

Why don't you ask someone over there to make your grills . I would gladly make them for you , but there is some real talent on your side of the pond that maybe happy for a bit of extra cash as we move toward the silly season ....

just let me know so I have time to sharpen my witt !

pics dudem, post some pics I'm standing here with my jeans round my ankles and no bloody inspiration . C'mon man !

Blamin' James May and the Airship caravan, no doubt!

Tho the Lancia coverage was very neat - the real ones, not the kitcar!

(We TIVoed it, and watched it tonight over dinner - lotta repeats, tho).
