Not exactly. They are of a breed of cabinet that were available in the day (the '50's, into the '60's) when going to a shop, buying raw drivers and then buying or making/having made cabinets for them was quite common. People were then free to choose cabinets that fit in with their ideas for decor, in this case apparently an older Germanic, maybe not late medieval but certainly pre-bauhaus, style.
